A. We are insured to take riders from 4yrs old upwards
Q. Do you have a maximum weight limit for riders?
A.Yes.14st. is the max weight we can allow for the wellbeing of our horses\ponies.
Q. What size horses\ponies do you have on your yard?
A. We have all types and sizes from 10.00hh to 16.3hh.
Q. What clothing do I need to wear when riding?
A. Dress to suit the weather. Footwear should have a heel to prevent your foot from slipping through the stirrup iron. We can provide you with a riding hat of the current safety standard.Free of charge!
Q. Am I too old at 50 to learn to ride?
A. Certainly not! Go for it!
Q. What is hacking?
A. Riding out of the schooling area
on roads, lanes, bridleways, open fields etc.,
Q. If my child needs a leader do I have to lead them?
A. No. We provide trained leaders.
Q. Do you provide lessons\instruction for adults or children with special needs?
A. Yes we do. We work closely with local schools with children who require special care and attention.
Q. Do you provide riding and stable management exams?
A. Yes we are an approved examination centre for Pony Club and the ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools).
Q. Can I bring my own horse for lessons in your school?
A. Yes. We often work with riders and their own horses. You can also join in with our various courses and competitions(look at our website for details).
Q. Are you open every day for lessons\hacks?
A. Every day except mondays.(Mondays are horses rest days).
